Changing Current date / time.
When you need to change your current time or time follow these steps.
1. On your SYS30 a timer press the SET UP SYSTEM button.
2. Press the Plus or Minus button until System Setup is flashing on the screen press Enter
3. Press the Plus or Minus button until SET DATE/TIME is flashing and press ENTER
On the date use the Plus or Minus buttons to change the Month to the desired month. To change the time use the keypad. The Enter button will change what is flashing. Of note if it is flashing that is what you are changing.
4. Once you have made the desired changes press the Exit button till you get to the main screen

Changing Store Hours
To change the hours of your stores follow these steps.
1. On your SYS30a timer press the SET UP SYSTEM button
2. Press the Plus or Minus button until SYSTEM SETUP is Flashing on the screen now press ENTER
3. Press the Plus or Minus Button until STORE HOURS is flashing on the screen and press ENTER
Now use the keypad to adjust the store hours. the ENTER will change where you are editing the Plus and Minus will change options.
4. Once you have made the desired changes pres the EXIT button multiple times until you get to the main screen.

Printer Problems
If you are having issues with your printer, and you want to see if it is working follow these simple steps.
1. On your SYS30a timer press the SET UP SYSTEM button
2.Press the Plus or Minus until RUN DIAGNOSTICS is flashing on the screen. Now press ENTER
3.Press the Plus or Minus button until Printer is flashing on the screen. Now press ENTER
4. Now the screen should say Run Diagnostics: Printer: with RUN flashing press the ENTER button.
IF Your printer starts printing random letters and characters. Your printer is working press the ENTER button to stop the printer. Now press the EXIT button multiple times until you see the main screen
IF YOUR PRINTER IS NOT PRINTING now you will have to check the printer cable. Press the ENTER button to stop the printter test. Open your timer by pressing on the pushtab on the center of the very top of your timer. This will allow the timer to open from the top down.
On the part of the timer that did not open up you will see the printer with a grey ribbon cable. Make sure that both sides of the printer ribon cable is plugged in.

Remote Display Problems
If you are having issues with your remote display (typically above your service window) follow these steps.
1. On your system 30a press the SET UP SYSTEM button
2.Press the Plus or Minus button until RUN DIAGNOSTICS is flashing now press ENTER.
3. Press the Plus or Minus button until REMOTES is flashing now press ENTER.
4. Now the word RUN should be fashing on the screen. When you press the ENTER Button a couple of things will start happening
Your remote display will start beeping and will show one number then flash and then show a number that is counting up. You need to write down the constant number. Once you have the constant number written down press the ENTER button to stop the diagnostic test.
5. Press the EXIT button repeatedly until you see the Main screen. Now press the SET UP SERVICE GOALS or 0 button
6. Now press the Plus or Minus button until REMOTE DISPLAYS is flashing now press the ENTER button.
7. Press the Plus or Minus until SETUP RMT DISPLAYS is flashing now press the ENTER button.
8. Now on the top of the screen you should see Setup Rmt Displays you will need to enter the number that was constant when you did the diagnostic. Press the Plus or Minus to select the mode you want the remote to show. Typically it is set to GOAL AVG press the ENTER and the Start will be flashing press ENTER
Now you are in the details of the remote display. Here you will choose what exactly your remote display shows. Pressing the Plus or Minus will change what you are displaying. Here is a Quick explanation of what each option does.
TOTAL - Will show the time for a vehicle starting as soon as the car pulls up to the Speaker post, and will stop when the car leaves the Service window.
MENU - Will show how long the vehicle has been at the speaker post. It will stop once the vehicle pulls off the speaker post.
GREET - Will time how long it takes for a member of your staff to greet the customer at the speaker post.
SERVICE or WINDOW - Will show how long a vehicle is at your service window.
Pressing the ENTER button will finalize your selection, causing the next item to flash. Everything else is mostly straight forward. If you have any questions please Call 866-266-1785
